Jean Won Mosler founded Maum Design LLC in 2008, specializing in Interior Design of High End Residential and Commerical Projects.
Jean Won Mosler, founder of Maum Design is known for her holistic approach to Interior Design including; Space Planning, Aesthetics of Space and her natural ability to create Minimal and Modern Spaces for living and working.
Previous to Maum Design, her past experience includes being a member of the New Store Design Team at Urban Outfitters Inc., where she worked on 14 new stores nationwide and worked directly with the CEO on the new UO Inc. Headquarters. Jean also worked as an integral senior member of the Store Design and Planning Team at Bloomingdale's where she worked on 5 new stores nationwide. She has also worked in varying design related roles at Heerim Architects & Engineers, odg/otto design group, 222gallery and Yoo for Philippe Starck.
Jean has participated on Architecture and Interior Design juries at Columbia University, Parsons and RISD. She has also taught at Parsons-The New School for Design in the Summer Studies in Constructed Environment. Won Mosler and Maum Design LLC works have been featured in New York Times, Cultured Magazine & New York Social Diary.
Jean studied under the Louis Kahn Architectural Methodologies called Design of the Environment and holds a BA in Architecture and a minor in History of Art from the University of Pennsylvania.
Won Mosler is currently a board member of Studio Unite, an organization that cultivates sustainable economic and environmental growth through its focus on social impact in the areas of architecture, art and research. She is currently working with Solight in an effort to distribute Solar Puff Lights around the world to those in need.
